Ronshad Shabazz Career

Career Bio

Ronshad Shabazz discovered his passion for basketball at the young age of eight. Through years of dedication and hard work, his efforts began to pay off, earning his first full-ride scholarship offer as a sophomore in high school. During his AAU dyas, playing with EYBL powerhouse CP3, he received over 20 scholarship offers from Division I universities.

Shabazz spent three years at Knightdale High School in North Carolina before transferring to the renowned Huntington Prep in West Virginia for his senior  year. Ultimately, Appalachian State University in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina won his heart in early October 2014, following his official visit and subsequent commitment to the program.

At Appalachian State, Shabazz started every game of his career and led the Mountaineers in scoring for three of his four years on the team. He left the university as the second all-time leading scorer and the all-time leader in field goals made. Among his many accolades, he was a three-time All-Sun Belt Conference player.

Following his collegiate success, Shabazz had opportunities to play professionally in the G-League and overseas, gaining valuable experience to share with young, aspiring basketball players.
